Stocking Report For Colorado - Everyone else has already posted a lot of great info on pike stocking. I found out at the expo that the odnr is planning to start stocking blue cats in alum in 2023. I dont fish alum creek or any central ohio lakes, but they are stocking blue cats in lakes that i fish regularly & im excited about it, think its great option for people to go out & catch big fish. Just built a half acre pond 12 ft deep this past fall it's almost full was wanting to know when can i start putting in flat head minnows to start the forge fish population live in lorain ohio any. Got lucky and a contractor needed fill dirt for a project near our farm, so it was done for. The ohio division of wildlife has been stocking hybrid striped bass into select inland water areas since the early 1980s, and wipers have been a buckeye state favorite to anglers ever.
Without spending much money, what would be my best bet to get them decently. My only concern is that the blue cats will get flushed out of. What are your thoughts on this? Links to the stocking info at end of this post. You have lot's of predators, too many for the amount of.
